Getting Here

Paso Robles sits along U.S. Highway 101 on California's Central Coast, roughly midway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Downtown is about a 20-minute drive from the surrounding vineyard country. Approximate drive times:

  • Los Angeles area US-101 N (via Santa Barbara / San Luis Obispo) ~3.5–4 hrs
  • San Francisco Bay Area US-101 S (via Salinas / King City) ~3.5–4 hrs
  • Pacific Northwest (Portland / Seattle) I-5 S to US-101, or coastal US-101 ~12–17+ hrs

Drive times are approximate and vary with traffic, weather, and stops. When driving rural roads such as Vineyard Drive near dawn or dusk, use extra caution and watch for deer.

Flying In

The nearest airport is San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport (SBP), about a 35–45 minute drive south of Paso Robles. Larger airports, Santa Barbara, San Jose, or Los Angeles, are farther but may offer more flights; a rental car is recommended from any of them.

A Welcoming Wine Town

Paso Robles is California's Central Coast wine country at its most welcoming: world-class wine, exceptional food, and a walkable downtown full of character. In just a day or two you can taste standout wines, enjoy a memorable meal (or three), shop for local treasures, and settle into the town's easy, friendly rhythm. Downtown centers on a leafy park, with most restaurants, bars, and shops within a few walkable blocks, a blend of small-town charm, wine-country sophistication, and warm Central Coast hospitality.

Vacation Rentals

Airbnb & Vrbo

Worth a look if you are traveling with family, splitting costs with other exhibitors, or want a kitchen and laundry for a multi-day stay. Whole-house rentals in town and in the surrounding hills often have the driveway or road frontage that a truck and trailer need, which downtown hotel lots rarely do. Vrbo lists much of the same inventory. Filter for parking, confirm your rig will fit before you book, and reserve early, since April is peak season in wine country.

Nightly rates are indicative starting points and shift with season and demand, confirm current pricing when booking.
