How Classes Are Divided
The general classes above are the framework. Final classes are divided into numbered sub-classes, 1A, 1B, 1C, and so on, based on the number of entries received, and are set after registration closes. The show does not pre-create a fixed set of sub-classes.
Age is taken as of show day, following the breed's official age groups: Lambs from 4 months and 1 day through their first birthday, Yearlings from the first birthday through the second, and Adults from the second birthday through the third. See the eligibility rules on the Rules page.
